Modene Hope Joiner

July 10, 1923 ~ April 28, 2018 (age 94)
Modene Hope Joiner, known to family and friends as “Nannie,” passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at The Willows in Kilgore at the age of 94 years. She was born July 10, 1923, in Jefferson, to David and Hattie Bell (Moore) Watson.
She was happily married to her husband, William Fisher Joiner, until his passing in 1993. Nannie was a loving mother to her children, Brenda Frazier, Belynda Holley and William Joiner, Jr.
Nannie will lovingly be remembered by her family for truly living a full life. She enjoyed chatting with family and friends, taking care of her grandchildren, shopping and spending time watching her favorite football team, the Cowboys.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Earlene Trent and Joyce Wade, brother Paul Watson, son, and son-in-law Bo Frazier.
She is survived by her daughters Brenda Frazier and Belynda Holley and friend Dee Zimmerman; daughter-in-law Cheryl Joiner; grandchildren Billy Joe Frazier and his wife, Lydia, Michael Frazier, Nicholas Holley, Sami Holley Nelson and husband, Ned, Tiffany Joiner and William Joiner III; great grandchildren Chris Frazier, Ceirria Weinburg, Sabrina Hardt and John Hardt.
A graveside service will be held at Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at the White Oak Cemetery with Reverend Jason Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation Tuesday, May 1st, 2018, from 6 o'clock in the evening until 8 o'clock in the evening in the Library of Welch Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Texas Oilfield Angels or the charity of your choice.
